Summer Fun

We ventured out to see if Cashew would still be afraid of the water after our experience at Alki last year. At first she was tentative and didn't want to go near the water. I actually changed her into her swimsuit only to change her back out of it...at which time she did want to go near the water after some observation time.
But, still she never walked through the fountain...just this bending over and touching the water stuff.
She had fun with the bears though...

Mei mei is not that steady yet...

Exploring the festival near our place over the weekend - Cashew enjoyed the free milk and we were happy with the free Cobs bread coupon :)

My week

"I've been spending quality time with Mei Mei - here's a look at one of the things she's good at."

" Ah, nothing like the folklife festival downtown... I really enjoyed the different music...that is, after I woke up from my nap.""Afterwards, I had a blast on the rides. Here I am in my plane - I didn't even need a license!"

"Baba took me to a few basketball games where I met up with some friends."

My A-gu

"New York Yankee A-gu came to visit us and we hung out a lot. We played on the playground...

we ate lots of yummy food...he was our favorite A-gu...especially when he was holding the snack tray...

went to the driving range - I created a new game: Chase the ball down and catch it before it gets into the hole...

hung out with Cousin Sushi...who says wah!

went racing..well, I didn't, but Uncle Pushi, A-gu, A-gong and my parents seemed to enjoy themselves. Funny thing is...don't their own cars go faster than these go-karts?

Bye bye kiss for New York Yankee...see you again soon. I had lots of fun with you, playing, eating Dim Sum, Sushi (not Cousin Sushi) etc.... hmm, except when you were playing Prince of Persia. Next time I will succeed in hiding the Wii remote from you so I have all the fun. "
