Getaway

This past weekend, we tagged along as Spidey had an exam in Portland. The awesome thing was that we booked a hotel on Priceline and it ended up being the Marriot Residence Inn which meant that it had a kitchenette. An even bigger bonus was that they had a breakfast every morning! We did some shopping (had to take advantage of the lack of sales tax) and though this mall was pretty dead, it had a beautiful merry-go-round. So, we had to take a ride...

On Saturday while Spidey was taking his exam, the girls and I ventured out in the cold to take the Streetcar into downtown a little. They loved the train - since we had no agenda...and I had no idea where we were going...we just took it into the heart of downtown and back.

We also walked around the waterfront a little...

Yup, we swam 3 times...if you can call hanging on to you parent's neck swimming or sitting in the hot tub.
