What Sweetpea's parents don't know

While Sweeatpea's little brother was being born that Friday, she spent some time with the neighbors. After a chicken noodle lunch and some fruit, it was time to get down to business. She safely tested our megablock box to ensure that it could double as a helmet. Another element of the test was the transparency of the helmet. Then, she expertly trained Cashew and Mei Mei in that helmet testing art. Here she is supervising while MeiMei dons the apparatus.

Next, it was storytime in Cashew's bedroom - no funny business here at all. Nope, no jumping on the bed or anything like that at all.

But, once downstairs again, it was time to train on the race track - laps are a normal course of exercise through the day. See you again soon Sweetpea, remember - what happens at the neighbor's house, stays at the neighbor's house.

Girls and Flowers

What is it with girls and flowers? They like to pick them and collect them...They like them printed on their dresses...And they like to draw them...a lot. In case you haven't met the grandparents, here they are! In full glory in a land with only butterflies, hearts and flowers. If only our world were like this!

Cashew has been addicted to drawing. What to do with all the masterpieces? I threw out most of what she did when she was younger...hmm, maybe should have kept some... And we make flowers too! Our flower bracelets (thanks Isaac) doubled as playdough cutters.

We did it!

Finally, we executed the Picnic at the Park!KC is assuming the expert climbing position. Nice move! Looks like these two were in a sushi eating contest? Where is Futomaki Fong?
