It snowed early this week which was a pain for the commute. But at least Cashew ventured out to meet a new friend and enjoy the white stuff.

Can you find Cashew? She's patiently waiting for Santa to call her name to get her present. She actually got MeiMei's for too...and opened it...and played with it...
It was a nippy out there but we made it out to the bird sanctuary for a stroll.
Can you guess what these are...the birds...not the humans...they make a loud squawking sound...and were about 4 ft tall. We didn't want to get too close, they have a large long beak.
