"Come on Mei Mei, make a wish!" So...we had an ice cream cake for Mei Mei's birthday - her pick of pink and green - which equals strawberry and mint chocolate chip. We sang, she blew and then...the guys decided to have an eating contest - see who could eat their piece of ice cream cake the quickest with no hands. And the winner is - E! Do I hear rematch? And this is what happens when you let budding photographers do their thing...

What if?

"If I was Spidey, I could do this on walls and outside buildings."

"If I was wider, I could eat more."

"If I had three legs, I'd step gingerly."

"If I could levitate, I would do that and the splits."

Yup, it's true - we had snow here just before Thanksgiving.

Luckily, we took the official reading here.
Back to science center we go - who doesn't love to shoot water at random objects? Hugs to all of you wherever you are!

What to do at our place?

While K & T's parents were partaking in a wedding, the kiddos had a lot on their agenda for the day. First, ballet exercises...


Second, quadruple horsey ride! Let's see you do 100 push-ups now Spidey!



Third, story time - which is very engaging, drawing the keen attention of all the kiddos...

Fall has come and gone!

The farm was a big hit with the girls - Cashew enjoyed the pony ride, Mei was not interested - well, fearful actually. They thoroughly loved the rides and enjoyed a fresh farm apple afterwards too.
Some strange french guy came to stay with us.

A different playground is always a gem!

It takes work to balance work and play.

This thing is hilarous, you spin in it and have a pretty difficult time trying to get out of it.

First day of school

Cashew's first day of school - you'd think it was Spidey's too. Happy times! The kids line up outside the door until the first bell rings and the teacher opens the door. First kid in the line has to hold the door for the other kids.

Retreat

Where do you find a view like this? Somewhere where they have shiny new gondolas?

Ones that carry 28 happy people in one car and move 4100 people an hour.

Some place where you can wear shorts and play in the snow!

And where you can stand on the peak of the mountain.

Somewhere where you can go hiking with your sweaty friends...

And take a postcard photo by the lake...

And where you can enjoy a lovely lunch in the forest in the shade!

We had a lot of delicious food, good company, beautiful weather and things to be thankful for.
