We did it!

Finally, we executed the Picnic at the Park!KC is assuming the expert climbing position. Nice move! Looks like these two were in a sushi eating contest? Where is Futomaki Fong?

Please notice the two figures in the back who were trying to stay warm by moving into direct sunlight.
!
5K run? Go ED - hope you had a good nap!

What could these ladies be doing, standing at the sidelines?
Watching their boys! A flash from 10 years ago? When the boys were young, agile and quick? :) Oh, I mean, of course you still are Spidey
Thank you all for joining us at our spring picnic despite the cool weather - we missed those who couldn't join us. We're so thankful for everyone's friendship and support.

Mei Mei and the triple!

Believe it or not, this rascal is 3!

We took last Monday off to celebrate and we ended up at the zoo where we met tigers...

Bears...

Snakes...which actually caused the birthday girl to cry and leap into our arms since the snake started slithering towards her. Spidey said she was just the right size for lunch.

We found the new penguin exhibit - where there apparently was a penguin shortage...we only saw 5?

The flamingos flapped their arms and honked their horns at us - Cashew was unimpressed with their odor.

I'm sure who is the bigger monkey - these girls...

or these gorillas. Cashew made the observation that the guy on the right is a grandpa.

Been keepin' busy?

The girls had their check-ups recently. Mei Mei is positioned for a quick getaway. We've had some sunny days lately - so the girls have been practicing their getaway by bike also.

We celebrated L's 2nd birthday - and took the mandatory kid photo - which is getting easier!

Girl friends!

And this is 50% Pushi's cake!

How to have fun

This is a bit overdue but here it is anyways.
Here's a lesson on how girls have fun - enjoy delicious Dim Sum! Getting your parents or grandparents to do all the hard work - doesn't look like it but we were definitely having fun.

Pose with stray animals...

Take skiing lessons indoors...

Walk around the house in your parent's shoes! (and listen to A-Ma chasing after you getting her floors dirty) Now you try, you can have fun too!

Old pal from the far east

He came into town and we went to Steveston... Granville Island...

And just hung around at home...

Can never have enough Olympics!

Here we go again, next event - Long track team pursuit at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Interesting how they don't do the same event in the summer Olympics - having 3 guys running with each other...

Spidey came back early and watched the Canada vs. Russia game - he says it was an awesome experience - the place was extremely loud.
The Stanley Cup!!

Back to the Ozone (while we back in Seattle).

Olympics!

The relay is pretty interesting - the skaters waiting for their turn hover in the center like bees.

Olympics!

Hmm, dilemma..Go USA? or Go Canada?
We took the new Canada Line downtown - finally! Very convenient and 25 min from Richmond to downtown. There were huge crowds downtown and long line-ups for everything.

Our camera got closer to the flame than we did.

Spidey and I watched some short track speed skating - very exciting. So crazy that they can train for years for this one race - and someone might push them and knock them down.

13 million cranberry display - dessert anyone? This shot was taken from a ferris wheel - which actually was a little fast - so many great free activities!

Lantern display in celebration of the Chinese New Year!

Getting ready to enter - without kids - time to par-tay!
