They converted the vault which housed all the safety deposit boxes into a conference room - how neat is that!
At that same level, they had a bank of pay phones which upheld the historical building. Cashew entered a booth to make an important phone call.
We ventured on the bus to Coronado Island - one of the few wooden hotels still around. The bus is a novelty to our kids - thank goodness for the everyday things of life that entertain!
They had beautiful, soft sand there. Sadly, we didn't have much time but Cashew ran around as much as she could in it. Mei Mei still doesn't like the feel of it on her feet.
Then, we were off to Old Town where we found...
how fitting for Spidey, a kicks fanatic.

Mei Mei couldn't hold out any longer. We were riding the bus which takes you around the zoo (because it's so large) and she fell asleep - finally.

Among the rhinos, giraffes, wart hogs, koalas, elephants, flamingos etc. we found zebras!
The highlight - panda, fellow Chinaman.
Can you guess what animal this is?

Anteater!
They have some beautiful buildings.

Then, as you can see in the photo above and below, we lost Cashew, as we ventured to the cactus garden.

Spidey had a chocolate craving so we had to make a stop for some...
